As per the scriptures God created or empowered Lucifer in the highest ranks of Angels. Lucifer was suppose to be the one who was suppose to help Jesus to carry on the Work of Salvation in Heaven or on the Earth. But Lucifer through his Pride, wanted to become like God, disobeyed God’s love and rebelled against God and his Kingdom. God threw him and one third of the angels who joined him against God in to the darkness of the World which was in chaos with no life in it. This is the reason he is been called the Fallen Angel because he disobeyed God and tried to equal himself with God in Pride. God created these Angels as good in humility but they chose to disobey and rebel against God.
We are also told that one third of an “innumerable company of angels” (Hebrews 12:22) chose to rebel with him. John saw this great wonder in heaven, “…an enormous red dragon…His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth…the great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him” (Revelation 12:3–9).
If Lucifer is in the opposition in the Spiritual Warfare of the material & Spiritual World who is opposite to Lucifer in this World. Jesus Christ is God himself who is the God of the good and evil as well. As I was reflecting the Assumption of our Lady in to Heaven , I realized that Mother Mary is Opposite to Lucifer or devil or Satan on this Earth.
Firstly Mother Mary was chosen by God to assist the Salvation Plan on this Earth which was incredible in the Work of Salvation. Secondly Mother Mary fully obeyed God in the salvation plan until Pentecost ,the birth of the church the New Heaven & Earth. Thirdly Mother Mary by knowing her position as Mother of God, humbled herself as a handmaid of the Lord. When she fulfilled her role as an assistant to the Savior, God escalated her or Exalted her in to Heaven in Body. Mind and Spirit.
The assumption of our Lady in to heaven is a day of Victory to Gods People because Satan was fallen from heaven and Mother Mary exalted to Heaven to be seated with her Son in Heaven. Gen 3:15 God’s Judgement to Satan, “And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and hers;he will crush your head,and you will strike his heel. The Offspring of Mother Mary is the Body of Christ the Church , Jesus is the Head and all God’s People are part of his Body.
Thus Mother Mary through her obedience and humility takes over the original position of Lucifer which was next to God on the day of Assumption. The Assumption of our Lady is the day of Victory, an officially proclaimed and awarded ceremony to Mary by lifting her up to Heaven by her Body , mind and soul. It is a great day for all God’s People who reject Satan and his Work on this Earth. Satan and his Kingdom shivers in the Intercession of Mother Mary because she has crushed his head through her Son Jesus on the Cross and she is crushing every day through the body of Christ , the people of Love ,the people who reject Sin and the temptations of the devil and through all those who choose to do good on this Earth. Let us Celebrate this victory by saying no to Temptations and yes to the love of God.
