Christians with Double Standard

Someone asked him,
“Lord, will only a few people be saved?”
He answered them,
“Strive to enter through the narrow gate,
for many, I tell you, will attempt to enter
but will not be strong enough.

Today’s Readings are the perfect solution for the present crisis in the current World. As nations and people strive to become powerful , Christ calls us to be meek and humble in heart, be tolerant towards the ignorant and forgive the offensive, help the needy and share the additional possession with the poor.If a Christian does not do all this by default he will not become a Christian or follower of Christ.

Some people start their journey with Christ with lots of enthusiasm but as the challenges of the Worldly values clash with Christ values , they give up and do not get up and try again. Then the journey of Hypocrisy start in their life, they have big Christian clan names whose clans were great Christians once upon a time but having ancestral names and not accepting personaly Christ and his teaching in life have a huge difference.

It is scary for people who follow Christ in double standards. We either follow Christ or not but not in between path which leads to complete darkness.For People who did not know Christ there may have a seperate channel of judgement based on their lived life but for people who knew Christ and baptised in his name and live in selfishness and revenge , it is a sacrilage to the body of Christ.

Again I say Christian life is in descending order in contrast to the Worldly life. The Worldly life and Christian life can not go hand in hand, but opposite to each other. A christian life can be prosperous if we depend upon God alone .

Prosperity has mis interpreted in to Worldly powers of this World. In the Bible God provided and protected his followers but the selfish and evil were rejected , we can achieve through true values of Christ but the thing is what we want to achieve is big question mark. If our goal is selfishness to become rich and powerful then following Christ is stupidity. But if our goal is to achieve a life of integrity and peace with our daily needs then Christ values are the right values for Life.

The real prosperity is to live a life of integrity and peace in this World. God provides for those who wait on the Lord for Providence,protection and Justice.

To check the authenticity of our life we must compare our life with the Beatitudes of Christ. If we are pure in our heart we will see God face to face.

Let us try to live the Gospel of Beatitudes in our life to receive the crown of Glory.The commandments of Christ must be the values the parents must give to their Children and not to make them great and wealthy in this World.If parents teach a child good manners, love of the poor, compassion and charity when they become adults they will respect their parents with the same values they received but if we teach our children how to become rich and greedy then one day the children will use these greedy and selfish values against their parents.

Friends World needs forgiveness and peace. Let us pray for peace .

Prayer: Lord pour out your love upon this broken World and renew the face of the Earth.Amen

Mercy leads us to God.

Jesus addressed this parable
to those who were convinced of their own righteousness
and despised everyone else.

We must Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling , the Salvation plan of God is a free gift from God himself to every human being so we can not attain Salvation through our self righteousness by keeping Laws and Commandments in it’s content but the Salvation of God is a living plan of God through the lived life in his mercy and shared mercy to others. This subject is very important to the grown up Christians , St. Paul who had grown in his Christian life says:

I have competed well; I have finished the race;
I have kept the faith.The Lord will rescue me from every evil threat and will bring me safe to his heavenly kingdom.To him be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Christian life is a plan of Salvation which has been manifested through the Word of God or the Gospel of Christ. The Gospel of Christ is a living Word and this living Word purges out all the disobedience and Worldliness in our life when we follow the Word of God. If we permit the Spirit of God to do whatever he wants to do in our life according to his Word and for his Glory by blindly obeying him without any doubt or fear in our life. When we give access to his Spirit to work out in our life we walk the plan of Salvation in our life. The Salvation is not one time experience but a life lived journey through out our life in his presence.

The first touch of the love of God in our life is a life changing experience which transforms or turns us from our own ways to to the Plan of Salvation , this turn has a long way which leads us to the crown of Salvation , the Salvation must be lived in our life with much reverence and obedience which is the most precious gift from God. There is no more precious gift from the Lord than the Salvation which we celebrate and receive in the Eucharist.

In the first reading God promises he is a God of justice who rules and vindicates for those who fear him and call out to him for help and mercy. We see in today’s World Rulers and leaders rule the Countries with Worldly power and Nuclear threat. There are millions of people affected by these threats and Violence , is our God of Justice will intervene in these situations? God will intervene if there are humble people crying out to God? But the question is how many people crying out for the help from God.

The faith has lost in the developed Countries and Gospel of Salvation has become stupidity to people. People think self righteousness of their own ideology can save them and give them peace. We see not even one true person who can confidently say that they seek the mercy of God. All are like that Pharisee claiming that their life is righteous ways are right and their cries are unanswered and people will perish. Is God responsible for that destruction. People must produce good fruits otherwise Evil generations will be wiped out from this World and God’s servants will inherit the land.

Friends please pray for Europe , there is a great danger to these nations , they may turn to the Lord and ask mercy and change their self righteous ways and depend on the Gospel truth and the good Lord will surely hear the Cries of the poor and bring Peace.

Prayer ; Lord have mercy upon us sinners …save us from War and nuclear threat..Amen.

True Life in the Gospel of Salvation.

In him you also, who have heard the word of truth,
the Gospel of your salvation, and have believed in him,
were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
which is the first installment of our inheritance
toward redemption as God’s possession, to the praise of his glory.

The Entire mankind has been living as per the convenience of this World and the craving of the flesh and mind including our Faith . The Gospel of Christ is the truth of Salvation which opens up the true image of our life. There is no Dictionary in this World to understand the authentic true image of humans in this World. The Science says man evolved from other animals over the years and many thinkers and epics teach different theologies and ideologies who claim their sayings or writings are true image of Human. There is so much confusion on the true image and life , some people have called the theoretical and philosophical or unseen images is a stupidity and embraced Atheism.

Is the Christian Spirituality or the Gospel of Christ a theory or a writing which makes us excited on issues said and taught two thousand years ago by a historical man Called Jesus. How the goodnews of Christ is different from other ways of life. We see many people’s life gets transformed after they follow that particular way of life according to the saying of that life. Is Christianity also a way of life which transform according to the sayings of the Gospel? We see two types of people who follow the Gospel, one type follow Christ to build their Worldly status and Kingdom and second type of people look for the true and real life and purpose of a Human on this Earth. The people who seek the truth in the Gospel Values , try to follow the truth at any cost. How do we guarantee the Gospel Values are true and real truth on this World? The person who follow Christ through the Gospel receives a supernatural gift called the Holyspirit or the love of God in his life which enables him to love others in all difficult situations and draws him to God the Almighty who is a unique being who wonderfully loves us, protects us and provides us. Holyspirit is the Guarantee or a confirmation from God that we are on a true way of life.This was the image of Jesus Christ who was filled with the love of God. If we truly believe in Christ , we will be able to do things like Jesus did on this Earth two thousand years ago.There is two third of the humanity identify themselves as Christians then why this World has not changed as per the teachings of Christ. The double standard of life or the Hypocrisy has blinded the Gospel truth of these people. When we encounter Christ, the spirit of God or the Word of God or the Gospel Values chalenge our existing life and the Holyspirit the agent of Truth cleanses our life from the Worldliness to the Gospel truth. This process is called first step of our Salvation and redemption. If we co-operate with the spirit of God in this purification we possess all the gifts and fruits of the spirit which make us disciples and witnesses to the Gospel truth . This witnessing forms ministries and communities on this Earth which we call the body of Christ.

If our Worldly life is not challenged by the Gospel truth then we have to evaluate our understanding of the Gospel truth. Many a times we read the Gospel and understand the truth as per our conveniences which is not a truth but a lie. Many preachers and Retreat Centres preach the Gospel not to transform but to gather crowd and polarisation. They select good speakers and not preachers. St.Peter was not a Speaker but witnessed Christ in his first Sermon and five thousand people were transformed and received the Gospel. When we hear these Worldly preachers we feel realy nice to our ears with lots of puns and hatredness pointing out to other Communities and ways of life but our hearts are not transformed because we have not heard the real message of the Gospel.

The Gospel truths are opposite to the Worldly standards of life.If the World teaches us to gather and be powerful the Gospel teaches us to loose and die for others in love. If our lives are not alligned with the values of Christ then we deceive ourselves and the World by calling ourselves as Christians.There are very few Christians in this World, not even one percent of the World population, otherwise we would not have found so much of Sin, Selfishness and unforgiveness on this World.

A christian depends on God alone even for Providence and Justice.A single Angel of God is more mightier than the Whole Army of the Strongest Nations of this World. God is the source of all good things of this World because God has created this World in his Wisdom and love. He provides , protects and vindicates if we believe and follow the Gospel Values in truth and Spirit.

The World requires the values of Christ today as all other ways of life are either failing or in error. Every person on this World must experience once in their life the love of Christ.

Prayer: Come Lord Jesus and transform the hearts of the Faithful.Amen
