God’s temple in heaven was opened,
and the ark of his covenant could be seen in the temple
I was asking the Lord today to give me a revelation on the great feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Lord gave me Ark of the Covenant , I was wandering why the Lord has given me this Word Ark of the Covenant. As I was pondering and reading today’s readings I was sure the Lord was referring Blessed Virgin Mary is the Ark of the covenant in the readings of today.
In the first reading of Revelation John saw God’s Temple in Heaven was opened, and the Ark of his Covenant could be seen in the Temple. There was a great sign appeared in the Sky which was an explanation of the Ark of the Covenant. The Lord was giving a revelation to John that the woman was Blessed Virgin Mary and the Child is our Lord Jesus Christ. There was a Spiritual Warfare in this interpretation , the Blessed Mary represents the Church of twelve Apostles who represented twelve tribes of Israel in the New Covenant . The Dragon represent Satan and seven Capital Sins are the heads which he controls the World with seven diadems which was a sign of Satan’s Lordship on this World. As Satan influences third of the Angels and rebels against the Almighty and hurls them to tempt people of God on this Earth. God appoints Mother Mary to become a co partner in the Salvation plan and protect the Savior on this Earth. Mother Mary was chosen to fight back against Satan , Lord Jesus Christ was the creator who came down from Heaven to give new life to people. Satan had all power in second Command in Heaven but he lost due to his rebellion and Pride become like God. God chooses Mother Mary who was humble and fully obedient to God’s Will to counter attack the rebellion of Satan on this Earth.
Mother Mary is the Ark of the Covenant chosen by the Almighty to fight against the Devil on this Earth. In the Old Testament whenever the Israelite’s were attacked by enemies , the Ark of the Covenant was taken at the front of the Battlefield with Praise of Worship and the Battles was won by the Israelite’s. In the New testament God makes a Ark of the Covenant not with Wood and metal or Manna and Tablets of commandments or a staff of Moses but with a person with Obedience to the complete Will of God “ I am the Handmaid of the Lord” and let your will be done according to thy Will . Blessed Mary represent the Ark of the Covenant and carries Ten Commandments and the Bread of life Christ in her Womb and in her entire life until the Church was born on the day of Pentecost.
The feast of Assumption of Blessed Mary is an award giving Ceremony and a day of Vindication and judgement. The Victorious Mother achieves her role in the Salvation plan to give birth, protect, nurture, guide , provide the Savior and assumed in to Heaven on the third day of her death. The traditions say St.Thomas witnessed her assumption in to heaven and a mantle of her cloth fell from her clothes which St.Thomas preserved as a witness for other Apostles and the Church. This mantle of Clothe, St.Thomas brought to India in his mission journey and adored till this day at the state of Kerala.
Mother Mary was given the Queen ship as a reward to her complete obedience to the Will of God. Blessed Mary partnered her Son Jesus through out her life in the plan of Salvation and thus became main instrument to defeat Satan and his Works on this Earth. Mother Mary Carried Jesus in her life and thus became living Ark of the Covenant. On the day of assumption blessed Mary was assumed in to Heaven and given the throne of Queen ship of Heaven and Earth by virtue of her obedient life on Earth. When Mother Mary was exalted Satan lost his position in Heaven for ever. Mother Mary was given the highest of all the honor in Heaven i.e. Ark of the Covenant , to possess Jesus himself in her . Mother Mary is the powerful instrument to crush the temptations of the Devil on this Earth. Mother Mary pray for us Sinners.Amen.
