Jesus is the Last & final Revelation of God

We see in today’s readings people wait on God to reveal the promised plan of God in their life. Abraham the Father of Faith waited for the promise of his Son but due to the reality of life, he confused with the plan of God and embraced the reality of life. God’s workings in our life cannot be seen or measured or forecasted or even felt in feelings because God’s Works are mysterious and can not be grasped by human mind. If someone tries to figure them and call them or name them, he is a fool and makes great mistake in his or her life because God’s plan or promise can be seen in trust and waiting upon him in his time and not our time. God’s plan cannot be demanded or reasoned or realised by its context.

God knew this problem of human mind and he himself revealed to the mankind and gave us the final revelation of his Word, Deed and his own body & Blood. The Church or People of God is the reality of the presence of God in today’s World, but we look for God’s presence in this Worldly matters and Worldly reality. The traditions of the Church are a passing reality of Christ in this World so any signs including the signs of the End of the World does not matter or reveal anything extra in the revelation of God’s truth in this World because the complete truth of the Gospel has been already revealed through Jesus Christ.

We just need to believe in the Promises of the Gospel and follow, spread this Gospel to the ends of the Earth because there is Salvation only in the Gospel of Christ. All the religions of this earth including its founder must accept the Gospel to rest in God’s presence. All the religions including Judaism & Islam must accept God’s Promised Messiah Jesus on this Earth because self-revelation or self-understanding of the promises of God can lead many Ishmael’s on this Earth and these Ishmaels cannot fulfil plan of God and bring the obstacle to the Kingdom of God on this Earth .How many of us read the Gospel of Christ and study daily and understand the truth and live in the light of the Gospel. We run from one place to the other to seek peace and happiness, but the real happiness and peace lies in the Words of the revelation of Christ the Gospel which is right under our nose bound in a book called Bible. Today let us take a decision to reflect the Gospel of repentance and these reflections will reveal the plan and mysteries of the Kingdom of God in our life.

Gospel of Christ is humble and gentle and accepts everyone, he forgives everyone, he loves everyone, he gives his last drop of the blood to save the poor and lost, he is seated at the right hand of the Father & intercedes for the Whole World. The Gospel of Christ is Christ himself. If any human does not accept this kind of Gospel of love and truth and embraces other Worldly truths revealed by Human revelations, then this person is refusing the light of the Gospel and wants to live in the darkness of human revelation.  God has chosen every Christian to understand the Gospel and live and proclaim this Gospel by witnessing to all our other Brothers and Sisters who have not experienced the love of the Gospel. There is a great urgency to live the Gospel and proclaim it to the ends of the World. May God reveal the light of the Gospel to your hearts. God Bless you…..

DIVORCE IS A DEATH & PASSED ON SIN TO THE NEXT GENERATION & HUMANITY.

This one, at last, is bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
this one shall be called ‘woman, ‘
for out of ‘her man’ this one has been taken.”
That is why a man leaves his father and mother
and clings to his wife,
and the two of them become one flesh
.

We see the meaning of Marriage in the readings today. We have to understand the origin of the Marriage at the time of Creation. The union of man and woman is the part of creation. We see in Genesis, Man and woman are formed with each other’s flesh and Bones. This symbolises the equality in dignity between Man and Woman. This union is called Conjugal love, so a man or Woman automatically fall in love to each other without any fear or pressure from others and come together in free will to live together in love and harmony.

A pressurised or a marriage forced upon on another person without his or her consent cannot fulfil the complete union of love, the church looks in to these kinds of marriages which do not fulfil the purpose of marriage and nullifies those marriage as if these marriages did not exist or happen. Church do not look at whether the marriage was arranged by their parents or guardians or self-chosen partner, but main purpose of the marriage is mutual consent and free will. This is the reason Church do not permit Child marriage. A Baptised adult Christian who is matured enough to exercise his or her free will can be considered as an eligible adult for a Christian Marriage. The Church also looks at undignified marriages of discrimination caused due to various reasons of life and it is impossible to live together in love & harmony.

A divorce or a separation of husband & wife is against natural Law or moral Law. The morality of Natural Law has been implanted in every human being and the voice of God echoes in every Conscience whenever there is injustice to self or to each other. Divorce is a great injustice to oneself, other person and to the society. This tears God’s original plan in our lives and draws in to the desires of our sinful flesh, World and Ego. God’s blessing to multiply and rule over the Earth gets disrupted and chaos and dis harmony created among  children , families and friends.

The culture of divorce is demonic and Worldly controlled by Sin. Every marriage is divine union of God’s love. So, the marriage is a purifying or sanctifying activity through out our life. A divorce is tearing one body or separating flesh and bones from one body in to pieces. A divorced Couple cannot live in the presence of God and the guilt of Sin haunts them every moment of their life. God’s mercy is greater than human Sin, so the Church calls all the Divorced couples for reconciliation and once again to get united to the Body of Christ. Church does not permit divorce but does not renounce divorced couples from the Church blessings.

Divorce is a grave sin like abortion which kills the humanity and passes a curse of Sin to the next generation. This is Sin against the Holy spirit and thus unpardonable. God and his mercy can not be taken for granted though it is available without limit. Divorce destroys the family life, the parents who are ambassadors of God’s love to their children become ambassadors of lust, dominion and power. Most of the crimes and addiction come from the deserted children of these families. The Evil looks for a chance to destroy family life and divorce is the one of them.

Homosexuality is the consequences of Sin of Adultery committed by our ancestors. When we do not live union with the natural Law, the artificial and self will Law start working in our lives and gets passed on to our next generation. This is called Homo Sexuality. A person does get attracted to the opposite sex which is un natural and does not feel that the opposite sex is flesh of flesh and bone of bone which is contrary to the original plan of God and Creation. But complete union with Christ in Baptism will wipe out the passed-on consequences of Sin and bring healing and deliverance to every Homosexual Bother and Sister. We need to pray for these brothers and Sisters and give more concern & Christian love to them because they suffer for no faults of theirs.

Today specially realise the gift of our second half and accept them from the Hands of God. Let us reconcile for not treating each other with love and dignity.  Also understand that the Marriage is not a coincident but the plan and part of creation. Also realise that Christian marriage comes with a package  of  blessings of the original  paradise Love, Joy, Peace, Patience and presence of God the Heaven or family on this Earth. Thus families are called living or domestic Churches of Christ. Christ lives in the Church building in Symbolically in the form of Host but he lives in Spirit in the family relationship  of love.

Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
you have revealed to little ones the mysteries of the Kingdom.

I feel so much excited and encouraged on the readings of today which explain our purpose of life on this Earth. God can not be understood or experienced in human Wisdom or Knowledge unless someone reveals to him face to face. Christ cannot be followed without understanding or experiencing his Gospel. The Holy spirit cannot be felt unless someone makes Jesus as the centre of their life.

Job in the first reading tries to justify himself to God for the afflictions or sufferings which he does not deserve. His freinds  Blaspheme against God and encourage him to curse God but Job stands firm in his faith in Prosperity and afflictions. In the old testament and olden traditions people took sickness, poverty as consequences of Sin. Job was challenged with this argument and trial. God’s ways and mind is a mystery and no person on this earth can understand his Ways. Jesus reveals this mystery of God to the simple people who kept their heart and mind to the Holy spirit. The Holy spirit is the revelation of God to his people.

We can not receive the Holy spirit without faith. When we believe in Jesus ways and in God’s ways without any doubt or reasoning God or Jesus reveals the mystery of God the Holy spirit. This revelation can not be experienced by any Scriptural/theological studies or by our good works or by living a disciplined life. When we trust in the Gospel the good news, God reveals himself to his people. We must be humble like Children to receive this Gospel, sometimes we must act like stupid or poor or humiliated for the Gospel but must trust in Jesus in thanksgiving in all circumstances. When we do this Jesus reveals his third person of the Holy spirit to us. The Holy spirit comes and dwells in our life, so our life does not remain the same but gets transformed and guided by him. When we live the life of the Spirit of God we are on the way to eternal life. This guidance does not contradict the Word of God or Church teachings. When we are possessed by the Holy Spirit we have God with us and all his fruits, Gifts and God’s life itself lives in us. We can do things what God can do in our lives. Our lives reflect God’s ways in this World. The Evil obey our orders in Jesus name, gift of intercession, healing, miracles, faith, Prophesy  and Jesus himself lives in us.

We must discern the right Spirits in our lives, some evangelisers use gospel for Worldly Prosperity. God blesses us with wealth and Prosperity as gifts but there is a difference between the Prosperity comes from God and the Prosperity acquired through our selfishness and Evil. The Prosperity comes from God is miraculous and not planned or targeted but happens by itself, but the Prosperity of the World can be measured or forecasted by people. God given blessings are understood after we receive them. These blessings are always answering to Christian prayers and Christian life. These blessings can come to individuals, Communities, Companies, Societies, Nations who trust and live on Christian values. These Blessing or Prosperity cannot be stolen or taken away or can fluctuate without the permission of God. The Selfish and Evil wealth is temporary and takes people away from God and brings destruction in families, Companies, Society and Nations. The only one way of understanding different prosperity is our values of life. If our values of life are selfish and Evil, then the prosperity is not from God. The Worldly or Evil Prosperity always does not bring peace, a person may become richest person of the World, but he cannot be peaceful or happy.

If we are God believing people, we must take all goodness & Sufferings from the hands of God like Job in the first reading. God knows better our lives than we ourselves and take care of us like small children. Let us humble ourselves to the Gospel truth and believe in this truth hundred percent and God’s Power , God’s Prosperity, God’s purification or discipline will come to us in the form of Holy Spirit who gives us Love . Joy , Peace the Kingdom of God on this earth.

Jesus appointed seventy-two other disciples
whom he sent ahead of him in pairs
to every town and place he intended to visit.

Today’s readings focus on the Christian Vocation and formation of the God’s Kingdom upon this Earth. Jesus begins his Work by choosing the twelve apostles and extends it by appointing Seventy-Two disciples.

God appoints every Christian by Baptism and through his personal revelation. Jesus gives different Christian missions to his followers, like Family life, Priesthood, Single for the Lord. Every vocation has a Christian mission at the centre. All Christians are appointed and sent forth to witness the Gospel and pass on the Gospel to the next generation. Many Christian families follow Christ in Prayer and Sacraments but very few become the witness and pass on the Gospel to others. In our families if we pray but do not follow the Christian life then we cannot witness the Gospel to our children. If at all we pressurise them to follow the Church, they refuse and drift away from the Church , not because they do not like the Gospel or Church teachings but they hate the Hypocrisy of their parents. The same applies to the Priests, Evangelisers and so on. The family or the Church must be a place of witness to Charity, love & Peace. If we have these virtues in our life the Spirit of God lives in our lives.

Jesus sends two by two (a pair) to evangelise. A couple or a Community of religious always live together for support, Witness to the Gospel and share the love in action. In the modern World people are living a single life like single parents, Single Children living without parents and a community. This is very dangerous for a true Christian life. They completely miss the support from each other, cannot stand alone or witness to the truth and most important is can not share the love and purify our lives and live a life of the Gospel. We see many Husbands or wives away from families for years to earn their daily bread and better life. Christianity is not about better life or prosperity but a life of love & peace. How many people increased love, Peace and happiness by accumulating Wealth and Worldly prosperity and the answer is Minus100%. People have lost complete Love & peace by searching peace in the Worldly Prosperity.

Today even the Priests are isolated and live a life of singles without the Community. This is the reason we see many scandals happening among the Priests of the Parishes compared to priests and religious live in the Community. Jesus always lived and taught a life of people living together.

In the teachings today, we see the Commitment of stability, Jesus says to stay at one place and do not run from one place to the other for better life. We see people migrating for materialism , leaving their native places . Jesus says in the gospel whatever you have for your daily bread be content or satisfied with that because our main vision of life is not Prosperity or Worldly success but to become the people of love & peace.

We have arguments saying in today’s World it is very difficult to live a life on Christian values. Jesus clearly says in the Gospel today I am sending you lambs among Wolves. Lambs are inferior in strength  than of the Wolves. Wolves devour Lambs. We must witness these Wolves and create God’s Kingdom where Lambs & Wolves can live together. If any Wolfe do not accept our Gospel of peace, we need not to break our head but go ahead with our mission to the others because the Harvest is huge in numbers. If some one is against the Gospel of truth that means that person deny the light and prefer the darkness in their life. On the judgement day our witness to the Gospel will stand against their justification saying : When did you visit us and the Lord will says whatever you did one of the least of these brothers or Sisters , you did it to me.

Mother Theresa chose this Vocation of love and quit the life of the Convent life of luxury and embraced the life of Poverty and Witnessed Gospel among the Slum dwellers. St. Francis Assisi did this by renouncing his Fathers Wealth.

Can we love God for nothing in return.

Is it for nothing that Job is God-fearing?

Are we God fearing People or God loving people? There is a big insight to this state of life. Who is God to us? Why do we require him in our daily life? Can we not live without him in our lives? What is God to us in our life.

Today’s readings answer our Questions

  1. God takes pride at a Righteous Person
  2. Prosperity, Power, Good Health comes from God’s Blessing
  3. God’s Blessings can not be taken away without God’s permission.
  4. Man is tested for his selfless love to the Creator.
  5. God disciplines or tests or purifies his people.
  6. The Kingdom of God is revealed to a person who lives a life of Beatitudes of the Gospel.

The above answers are some of the Bullet Points of the message of the Readings today. I can explain these points in many pages in detail but the central message of the Readings today is : Do we really love God like a loving Father or we love him for any other reasons in our lives.
