As we celebrate the feast of solemnity of the sacred Heart of Jesus, let us truly understand the true meaning of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The readings of today talk about the love of God to his People. God’s love is so much greater in depth, Height, width and length which surpasses all Wisdom and Knowledge and reason of this World. This is the reason many Holy men and Women experienced the Love of God and chose to serve and love him alone. If someone understand and experience the love of God, he will live for him alone to build the Kingdom of God on this Earth.

Many People do not have a purpose to live and fed up with the rat race of this World but God says to these people in the first reading that it I who chose you and loved you. God took the first step to propose his love like a lover begging for love. So we have a reason and purpose to live because there is someone loves us so dearly and died for our love. This love of God is so powerful which we can  not measure  in human standard or repay in this life. What we can do is to respond to this love by accepting it and acknowledging its sanctity and purity and holiness. God’s love makes us holy , there is no achievement or purpose or success in Loving God but it is an act of love as it is.

Prayer binds our loving relationship with God. Prayer itself is an act of love. We can say Praying is loving. There is no reason for this love but simply God has fallen  in love with us and wants to immerse us in his Sacred Heart so that we may become one with him in Body , mind and soul. The only purpose to live is  God loves us. God’s love is not cheap but very precious and valuable. This love of God poured in to us through the Holy spirit . Holy spirit is the driver of God’s love . All workings of the Holy spirit are the acts of  God’s love.

If we are faithful to God’s love, then we must be faithful to his love and his words. In his love there is forgiveness, patience, charity, self-control, peace, Joy, meekness, gentleness, compassion and generosity. This sacred love of Jesus makes us Fullness of his Spirit and leads us to Eternal life Heaven.
