Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth;
you have revealed to little ones the mysteries of the Kingdom.

Today’s readings tell us how to achieve the Kingdom of God or what has to be our attitudes to support it. The Kingdom of God is nothing but God’s Love or the Holy Spirit.  Man was created in Body, mind and Soul and the Holy Spirit was put in to Man’s Spirit and the entire body mind and Soul was controlled by the faculty of God’s love in our life. But when man disobeyed God the faculty or Capacity of God’s Love weakened, and man started to live as per body, mind and Soul without the Portion of God’s love. The God’s love was cut off from Human Spirit and death and corruption of Body, mind and Soul entered Man’s life. The Capacity to think in God’s way was disabled and Man became a nomad Wanderer like a hybrid animal on this Earth.  The original qualities of the animal arose within himself. This is the reason if we see in early History or in the time of Stone Age or in the story of Cain and Abel, People killed each other just for a Fitts of Anger or Jealousy or lust or gluttony. The animals still have the same tendency as these people. If we see in the World, still people have this tendency of Anger and killing and Violence. This is the clear sign that these people lack God’s Spirit in their Spirit or in their life and driven by the animal human fleshly spirit. People who are driven by this spirit are not able to forgive each other and the anger, Pride and Jealousy flares up and there is only one thing they want to take is revenge.

Jesus came in to this Earth to infuse the lost love of God (Holy Spirit) in the Human Spirit or Soul of every human being. The Salvation was awaited from the beginning of the Creation and the mysteries of the Kingdom of God were supposed to be revealed by Christ. Jesus Christ himself is the Mystery enfolded by the Father and the Holy Spirit. When Holy trinity dwell in our heart, the entire salvation is accomplished in that man. The faculty of God’s love starts flowing from that person’s life and he is controlled by the Power of the Holy Spirit or the love of God.  The first sign of these supernatural human beings are Fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Love, Joy, Peace, miracles, wonders, healing, deliverance flows from these individuals. The Servant nature, selfless love, forgiveness emerges from the heart of these people.  Humility, Prayer and hope become the tools of Warfare to overcome the fleshly nature and Evil.

The entire creation corrupted to decay through the disobedience of Man. So, the Whole Cosmos is not known to human due to the Sin full nature. When we accept Jesus in our life by the love of the Holy Trinity flowing through our mind, Body and Spirit reveal all the mysteries of Heaven and Even of the Whole of the Cosmos. Let Science try their level best to know the Creation or stop the Corruption or Sickness of the Creation with all technology or Science, it is like small Children trying to build a Bridge to the sea at the Sea shore. Human does not have the Capacity to understand the Mysteries of the Cosmos or of the Kingdom of God without the Trinitarian love in our lives. King Solomon asked for the understanding of the Heart and he was given the Holy Spirit the Wisdom of God and this Wisdom of God can reveal the mysteries of the Kingdom of God and of the Cosmos

I call upon all young and intelligent to invest your time and education to search this everlasting Wisdom on this Earth which far beyond than the riches or the Knowledge of this World and this Wisdom is everlasting and does not fade or decay. We see many Saints bodies are still incorrupt or non-decay, this is because of their inheritance of God’s love in their life and the science does not have an answer.

In the Gospel today Jesus says, Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed or like a yeast seed which is smallest of all grains but When Cultivated becomes the largest in Earth. Prayer is the small seed of the Faith and when we pray with our humbled heart, mighty miracles of God’s love manifests by making the impossible things in to possible which neither the medical Science or Human discipline or Intelligence can do in this World. Friends believe it or not the entire goodness in the World is the result of our little prayers. Jesus is inviting us to use these little prayers at every activity in our life. Prayer is nothing but humbling before God and acknowledging his Lordship and control over the situation in surrender. Friends please use this method, before starting any activity however small it may be offer it to the Lordship of Jesus and ask him to take control of the situation. Then you watch how he controls the situation in that area. We must pray every time, every place and every situation however small it may be or how Complicated or impossible it may look like, for God it is the same. We must not rely our ability because we do not have divine ability but human knowledge which is limited and laborious which does not bring peace but destress. God’s Wisdom and Power  brings everlasting Peace and Happiness. One day the whole World will come to know this truth and we will experience Heaven on this Earth. Let us pray to Jesus to hasten this  Salvation on this earth, come Lord Jesus Come…

and from them he chose Twelve, whom he also named Apostles:

Today’s readings talk about the process of passing on the Faith from one generations to the next generation. The message of the Gospel and Working of the Holy Spirit build people in to a dwelling place to God. When God dwell in the heart of people, they become the members of Christ himself. In the Gospel Jesus chooses twelve Apostles among many disciples. The Apostles are sent out or Commissioned to carry on the Gospel of Christ to the end of the Earth. The Apostles are represented by the Bishops of the Church today and have a special significance. Jesus chose 12 Apostles representing the 12 tribes of Israel. Jesus chose 12 men as Apostles and Commissioned them to spread the good news to the end of the World and hence the permission to Women priesthood  is matter of obedience to the Prayer and discernment of Jesus. St. Paul also talks about Women not to take part in the priestly Work.   But St. Paul in the first reading calls :  Brothers and sisters:
You are no longer strangers and sojourners,
but you are fellow citizens with the holy ones
and members of the household of God.

St. Paul calls every Brother and Sister as fellow Citizens with the holy ones. All the members of the Body of the Church have a specific role and every Sister or Brother of Jesus has her or his role in the body of Christ. The Brothers of Christ have a specific role and a Sister of Christ have a specific role and together whole body of Christ is built in unity.  Brothers are chosen by the Lord as Apostles to administer the Word of God and rule the entire body of Christ. Sisters are basically becoming assistants in the administration Work. This is the Wisdom of God who structured the Church in that way to bring a beautiful shape and beauty. Also, men are made head of the families to carry on the Work of God. In most of the families the Women are the main instrument of holiness and passing on the faith to Children, but the Church teaches to honour the men in the Church as leaders or Shepherds. This is having been passed on from the Creation of the World and Worked beautifully, let us imitate the Wisdom of God and obedient to the Word of God like the rest of the Gospel . Mother Mary became the perfect woman in the history of Salvation and fulfilled the role of a Mother and obedience to the call of God. She cooperated with the High Priest her own Son by becoming the Mother of God and Mother of son of Man. She fulfilled the role of Divine Human relationship. every Woman must imitate Mother Mary who was the perfect follower of Christ in Word and deed. Priesthood is a Vocation or Call of God to certain people who are Worthy of Christ. The worthiness has been discerned by the Lord himself. All Women have a greater role of Motherhood and procreation like Mother  Mary which Men do not have the privilege due to their structure of Creation. Therefore the Priesthood is a structure of God’s building and God puts men in the foundation with the Corner stone beingJesus himself with all holy men and Women of  God.

Today as we celebrate the feast of St. Jude who was the Cousin of our Lord and Simon the Zealot Who was full of Zeal for the Gospel of Christ who were the great Apostles to spread the good news in the Middle East , let us pray for the Evangelisation and Peace in the Middle East. St. Jude is the patron saint of all lost  and hopeless Causes , let pray for the World of no hope and in distress.

 

 

 

God’s Glory & Power overcomes the Human & Evil Authority.

Then repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar
and to God what belongs to God.”

Today’s readings give us the message of Obedience to the Authorities. Do Christians subject to the Worldly Authorities? The answer is yes, all Christians must obey every authority above us. All the authority comes from God because God controls the Universe. Jesus though the Creator of heaven and Earth obeyed and humbled in all respect in his 33 years of life time. Do Christians obey the Evil Authorities in this World?  The answer is again Yes, but every Christian has been placed under an Evil authority for a Purpose and God does this to eradicate the Evil by good. When Christian in his persecution from the Evil authorities cry out to the Lord and Witnesses for the Gospel, the Evil power gets defeated and the power of Evil leaves the Authority and God’s Spirit takes over the authority. So, when we are any place or circumstances we must Witness to the Gospel of truth but never ever succumb to the Evil practices even to the point of our death. Jesus did this and given us the Example of ultimate love and forgiveness. Many Christians suffer through out their life by Evil afflictions, today God is giving them a message to forgive and Witness those Evil forces. If we retaliate we strengthen the Evil forces and our suffering becomes greater than before but if we Witness them in love and obedience, God’s power manifests and you will see mighty miracles and Wonders with many Saul’s getting converted to Paul’s.

In the first reading God blesses a Pagan King called Cyrus and gives him power and success over other Nations and King. He uses him to save the Jews who were in Exile. The King Cyrus transformed by God and the power of God was manifested out of the Cries of the Exiled people of Israel. When we suffer for Christ by the persecution and suffering, God’s power starts to activate in that area of our life. Many Saints were obedient to the truth and authorities and died for the Gospel, but later those very authorities got converted with power of the Holy Spirit. Romans killed highest number of Christians but finally, God converted Roman Empire to proclaim the Gospel.  Today we see most of the traditions among the Catholics have come from Roman Empire.

God’s ways are far beyond than how we think or expect. The Gospel words are Spirit and life and when we declare these message in Words and deeds, the Spirit of God gives life to the dead souls. All Christians must become the small lights of the World by our lived life of love and truth with the little faith we have in his love and mercy. If we trust in him and his power in our life, however Evil or dark place we may live, it does not matter to us because our full trust and faith is in him alone. We must trust in Christ and his Gospel message more and more and we will be able to overcome every obstacle of our life through his power and mercy. Jesus has Conquered the flesh, World and Evil through his Cross and resurrection so let us be Witnesses to that Cross and resurrection and overcome the power of Evil in this World.

 

 

Grace & Favor comes from God alone.

Yet not one of them has escaped the notice of God.
Even the hairs of your head have all been counted.

Today’s reading talk about man’s existence in the mercy & grace of God.  We see many people boasting of their achievements as an entrepreneur, Scholar, Bureaucrat, Politician, Artist, Scientist, Theologian, Philosopher so on. Now the successful man can take the credit of his achievement for himself or give the credit to God. The modern World does not recognise the power and control of God over the Creation but believe in the Work of their hands. St. Paul says if we take credit for the Work of our hands, it does not become the free gift from God, but it becomes the wages for our efforts. The Salvation cannot be earned through our efforts but is a free gift of grace and mercy of God. To receive this gift, we need to have a strong faith and hope in God. Faith is a trusting relationship with God. We are hoping the goodness to come from all things in our lives by  trusting in God the Creator of heaven and Earth.

We see people, now a day who have duplicate natures. They talk and act like good people, but their actions are not as per their talks or behaviour. We have many people of these kind in our Society. Some people call this behaviour as diplomatic or Shrewd, but it is not, this Character comes from the Evil. We can call these people sugar quoted or Wolfes in Sheep clothes. Bible says our talks must be only yes or no and anything else comes from the Evil. We see in our modern Society we want to be nice to each other and we adopt a strategy of I scratch your back and you scratch my back. The greetings of Hello. Good morning. praise the lord. Hallelujah… have become a stereo type of greetings o and do not mean nothing in our heart to most of us.

Why do we take credit for our Work and not a blessing from God? The Pride of boasting of our Works, make us Master of ourselves and we refuse the Lordship of God in our lives. Why do we act as good people when our actions are Evil? If we have to be really good, then our actions will be exposed and revealed to the Whole World and we do not want it to happen due to our Pride. A true follower of Christ is not scared of his Weaknesses to be exposed to the World and always grateful to God in whatever he does in his or her life.

Today’s readings assure us God’s favour, Providence and protection to every person who put their trust in God, even in extreme crisis of their life. God is the ultimate of our merit and reward. Why people cannot experience this because they do not put their faith in him and trust in his mercy & grace. This is a highest level of Science and technology which our youth of today must learn from the readings today.  Mother Theresa was once responded to a journalist question on one of the unsuccessful, rejected and opposed project of hers, I do not work for success, but I work in obedient to my Master who wants me to do the good work in all circumstances. This is a life beyond the World and comes through only in faith and from the gift of Holy Spirit. This is the life in the spirit which every individual of this earth must experience and live in their life. Jesus came in to this World to give us this life so that we are favoured by the Spirit of God. The spirit of God in our life keeps the count of every step of our life like a Father or Mother keeps a watch on a little Child. So, let us be dependents of God and become adults doing his Work of love and charity in this World. Taste & See his Power & Care. He is Sweet .. he cares for us all the time and all powerful and does not fail. He is faithful to his promises.

 

Jesus Christ is the real prince of light who dispels darkness in the Festival of Deepavali.

For we consider that a person is justified by faith
apart from works of the law.
Does God belong to Jews alone?
Does he not belong to Gentiles, too?
Yes, also to Gentiles, for God is one
and will justify the circumcised on the basis of faith
and the uncircumcised through faith.

Today’s readings talk about the life in the Holy Spirit. Jesus gave us a new teaching on salvation and eternal life. Most of the ancient Religions like Hinduism, Judaism, Zoroastrianism believed that the Salvation can be achieved only through the good Works and all the Religions drafted rules, regulations and rituals for the Expiation of Sins and to attain Salvation.  After the fall of the Tower of Babylon, the people scattered all over the World and spoke different languages and followed different traditions and Culture. Hinduism was one of the very ancient religions of the World. If we see some of the practices of Hinduism are very Common to Judaism, like animal sacrifice and offering the Blood for the expiation of Sins. Karma or good Works or Law of life leads to eternal life. The Knowledge or disciplined life of a Brahmin like the Levites and Scribes. There are Epics and set of rules of Vedas and Puranas to live disciplined life and overcome the power of Evil. There is Holy Spirit Working in the Religion of Hinduism just like Judaism but the Evil working through the Law & traditions.  If we see Hindu practices compared to the modern World culture, they are much more holy and acceptable in the eyes of God like divorce and sanctity of Marriage, respect for Women, respect for elderly, discipline in food, meditation and prayer so on.

Mahatma Gandhi believed in Ram Raj and respected every religion and dispelled the darkness of Evil of Discrimination, Caste, Creed and freedom but was killed by the Hindu fundamentalists.  Deepavali is a festival of Victory over Evil as Ram kills the Evil King Rawan and establishes a Kingdom of Love and Peace.  Hindus call the Kingdom of God   as Ram Raj , a Kingdom of Peace and Happiness.  Jews even today expect a Messiah emerging with great power and strength and destroy the power of Evil. Hindus believe the Current age is Kali Yug or Evil Age and the last age of the Hindu Calendar. Hindus Expect Ram Raj will be established by the end of this age. What is Ram Raj or messianic age?

In the Acclamation of the Gospel Jesus says: I am the way and the truth and the life, says the Lord;
no one comes to the Father except through me.

Why did Jesus tell that he is the only way to reach the Heaven? St. Paul in the first reading answers this question: Now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, though testified to by the law and the prophets, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ  for all who believe. The justification and the reconciliation to our loving God comes from the faith and through the blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus became the Lamb of God and died for the Whole World and justified all mankind including Hindus, Jews, Parsees, Jains, Muslims, Sikhs by shedding his blood on the Cross as expiation for our Sins. Those who believe in him and his message of Salvation Gospel will be set free from Evil and receive the Holy Spirit the love and fellowship of God. So the salvation can not be attained through our fleshly good works because our bodies are corrupted and become the part of Evil so whatever good works we do from our Bodies or Knowledge of the mind we can not give glory to God because the action of our Body and mind are one way or the other is Evil. This is the reason the Law , rules, regulations, rituals bring only destruction and chaos like the Tower of Babel.

The Salvation can come only from God and this is the reason God himself becomes man takes birth in the form of Jesus and offers a Perfect sacrifice of his flesh and reconciles human to God and attains the lost Glory of God the Holy Spirit. Jesus   offers a deal to every human, anyone believes in him , he will give him the Spirit of  God to become the Son and daughter of  God.

Hindus or Jews or even Christians by birth who do not understand the meaning of this Salvation and believe and receive the Holy Spirit and live and die in that Spirit cannot enter the Kingdom of God . This is not any discrimination between any beliefs or justifying Jesus as right way but the moral science of justification and Salvation from our Sins. We must be educated and look at the light of the World Jesus in our life. If we see the light of love in our neighbourhood or in the World and still hold on to our present pride of darkness then we will not have any justification at the end of the age. The light came in to the world but people preferred darkness. The Christian teaching of love, forgiveness, charity and faith in Jesus and the fruits of the Holy Spirit from the true followers of Christ  like love, peace, patience, self-control,  generosity will testify against every person who do not believe in the goodness and mercy of God. Jesus is the Messiah of Peace love joy and unity , those who do not believe this Prince of Peace chooses to live in darkness of ignorance and Pride. If a man or Woman has a Will power and Wisdom  to Work, Marry, Make Children and choose right and wrong of this World must also encountered Jesus the light of the world somewhere in their life inviting them to believe in him. The choice of every person whether to believe in the light or live in the rut of darkness of Evil.

God is merciful and sends Prophets and educates them through the Law of Salvation but People kill the prophets and reject the Commandments of God. If science says without Air and Water, man cannot live so without Jesus and Holy Spirit we cannot experience the love of God and our near and dear once on this Earth or to Come.  Jesus is real light of Deepavali who dispels the darkness of hatred and violence. All the figures of the old deities or Gods require Jesus in their life to reach the Kingdom of  God because there is no other Way to Heaven because He is the only one who came from Heaven and died for the sins of the Whole World.  Today I pray to our loving Father to draw more and more people towards his Son Jesus Christ to believe in him and saved from the World, Flesh and Devil.

 

 

First & Foremost duty of a Christian to Work to build the Kingdom of God on this Earth

Today’s Readings talk about the vocation of every follower of Christ. A true Christian or follower of Christ is the new Creation in Jesus Christ. The old life of Flesh, World & Evil has gone and new life in the Holy Spirit has begun. St. Paul experienced Jesus and transformed completely and filled with the Holy Spirit. St. Paul started proclaiming the Gospel as soon as he experienced Christ in his life. St. Paul also lived a normal life in the normal society by earning his daily bread but made a difference by forming various Communities and writing many Epistles. St. Luke was a Physician and a Disciple of St. Paul. He was a Gentile before his Conversion.  St. Luke prefers to follow Christ despite of his highly respected profession. St. Luke gives us one of the beautiful Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles. St. Luke gives a detailed life of Mother Mary and her role in the Salvation Plan.

The first and foremost call of every Christian to take part in the ministry of Christ. Christians are  not called to eat and drink or build and sell or to rule the Earth by power and strength but they are called to proclaim the Gospel of Christ on this Earth to every Soul and build his Kingdom upon this Earth. Jesus says in the Gospel: Harvest is abundant but the labourers are few.  Jesus sent 70 Disciples ahead of him to proclaim the Kingdom of God. Jesus ordered them not to possess anything while proclaiming the Gospel. St. Francis the Assisi followed Jesus Words in action and built a Community of Poverty, Prayer and Disciples. The Gospel proclaimed in poverty has the real value in Words and deed. Mother Theresa realised this secret and left the Posh Loretta Convent in Kolkata and joined the Slum dwellers by proclaiming them the Gospel of love and service.

All Christian families are called to proclaim the Gospel to their Children and each other. The Parents are the best Vocation promoters and it is their first responsibility and duty as Christian Parents to encourage and pray for their Children to be a true disciple of Jesus. Now a days we see Parents planning the future of their Children ten years in advance either to become a Doctor, Engineer, Lawyer, Business Man so on but no one plans their Children to be a Christian leader in any capacity. St. Luke was a Doctor who left everything and followed Christ and lived in extreme Condition and died as a Martyr. St. Paul was not less than a Theologian of the Law and a Pharisee, Educated in Scriptures and Civil Lawyer and a Roman Citizen. In those days Roman Citizen had highest Value like our time  of US or UK Citizens but look at him, he was imprisoned, beaten, hungry, persecuted, homeless and finally killed for the love of the Gospel.  We see well learned people and Kings leaving their luxurious life and proclaiming Christ as per his Command. We see hundreds of thousands of Priests and religious living for Christ by sacrificing their worldly life.

Jesus said “ if you call me Lord ..Lord.. but do not do the Will of my Father, I will deny you in the Kingdom of God. God wants every Christian to proclaim the Gospel of love to all the poor and ignorant. This is a Commandment of love and the only commandment in Christianity. If we do not do this ministry then we cannot call ourselves Christians but Hypocrites. If we are Parents we are suppose to become a Christian example to our Children and they will follow our examples. If we show them Worldly ways of Success and prosperity, they will go in that way and we will be responsible for their Soul. The Word of God says very clearly, I do not know you , you the wicked generation and the  rejected people will say we did not see you in our time and Jesus will say Whatsoever you did to the least of my Brother or Sister , you did it to me.

Christians are Co celebrants in every Mass and not mere spectators. All are suppose to contribute in the body of Christ otherwise we cannot become the members of the Body of Christ and are outside the Church of God by being mere participate in the ritual. We are the labourers of that Harvest and we have the duty to complete the Harvest and we have been hired for this purpose or chosen as Christians for this purpose. If we do not do our duty and get involved in other Business, we cheat our Master and we will be fired from our job and our job will be given to a good Worker. If we call ourselves Christians then we must full fill our duty otherwise by default we cannot enter the Kingdom of God.

 

 

 

 

 

Holy spirit reveals the secrets of the kingdom of God.

On this mountain the LORD of hosts
will provide for all peoples
a feast of rich food and choice wines,
juicy, rich food and pure, choice wines.
On this mountain he will destroy
the veil that veils all peoples,
the web that is woven over all nations;
he will destroy death forever.
The Lord GOD will wipe away
the tears from every face;
the reproach of his people he will remove
from the whole earth; for the LORD has spoken.

We see in today’s readings the rewards for those who put their trust in the Son of Man and obey his Words. Every word of the Bible and teaching of the Church is an invitation to each and every individual of this Earth. Jesus proclaimed the Gospel some believed but others insulted and persecuted him. Those who put their trust in him and did what he said received the Holy Spirit, the spirit of abundance who revealed all the secrets of the Kingdom of God. Our real rich food given to us  is by the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is the product of obedience to the Word of God by repentance and faith in God in all circumstances. When a disciple of Christ filled with Holy Spirit all the emptiness or abundance becomes the same for him because he desires nothing but the love of God alone.    In the second reading St. Paul says in every circumstance and in all things, I have learned the secret of being well fed and of going hungry.  The secret is this:  We can do all things in him who strengthens us, in fact he himself will be our fullness and our hope.

God is inviting us for the Wedding of his Son through the Gospel, those who receive or obey the Word of God, Jesus will make us his bride the Church and we the Church will not be two but one body mind and spirit. Thus, we become the heirs and Sons and daughters of God.  If we repent and obey the Word of God, Jesus will destroy the ignorance or foolishness of our mind and destroy the Web of Technology, Force, Sanctions, fear, money over all nations and finally he will destroy the fear of death and reveal the Holy Spirit and the Secrets of the Kingdom of God. Then man will not live for the World but for the Lord. Love, Justice & Peace supersede the Power, money, name & fame. God himself will be the Lord and king of all. He himself will wipe every tear of his children. God is calling us to live in this Vocation in this World. To live in the House of the Lord all the days of our life and he will be our Shepherd who provides, protects, heals, comforts, counsels, teaches, guides us all the days of our life. May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
enlighten the eyes of our hearts,
so that we may know what is the hope
that belongs to our call.

 

Evil spirit can be eradicated only through the Holy spirit of Love

You have said, “It is vain to serve God,
and what do we profit by keeping his command,
And going about in penitential dress
in awe of the LORD of hosts?
Rather must we call the proud blessed;
for indeed evildoers prosper,
and even tempt God with impunity.”

We see in today’s readings the necessity of God’s graces to human being in his journey of life. We often come across in our Society, Workplace, Families, Church about the Evil and injustice prevailing over Justice and good. The People of God who expect and pray to God to eradicate Evil from the Earth to establish the Kingdom of Peace & Love are disappointed and start losing faith in the existence of God and start living as per their Knowledge of good and Evil. This Category of people live a good life without the assistance or praying to any God. The no is growing day by day and the Faith in God has become an old fashion or in some modern developed Countries compared to superstition or foolishness or false belief.  Prophet Malachi’s time around 2500 years ago also had the same problem, in the first reading people murmur among themselves of the Prosperity of the Evil People in this World. If we read this Chapter God promises the destruction of these Evil people either in this Earth or after their death.

Why we cannot live a good life by our human intelligence and Knowledge? The World has been corrupted by the Evil force which is invisible spirit hiding behind every Evil activity or person. This Evil Spirit is the cause of all the rise of injustice and Evil in this World.  The Evil spirit is a Spirit and more powerful than human intelligence or education or Science or technology or Knowledge. This Evil Spirit can be eradicated only through a good spirit and this good Spirit comes from God alone. God has given his commandments & Holy Spirit to live with in the boundary of his graces and not to enter in to Evil Ways. If we possess the Spirit of God in us we can drive away the Evil Spirit through the Holy Spirit who dwell in us. Also, if we possess the spirit of love (Holy Spirit) we can defeat the Evil of injustice, and all kind of evils from our Society, Workplace, Families, Church and all over the World. Prayer is the best method to ask for the Holy Spirit from God who is the source of all goodness.

Prayer is a method to ask for favour of God or grace of God. Prayer is a sign of humbleness and surrender or subject to the Authority. The Proud or rebellious people cannot pray or humble down because they consider themselves as an authority and not the subject. Most of the People who have stopped believing in God’s grace or faith in God not because of increase in Evil but because they cannot humble down or subject before a Person whom they have not seen or experienced in their life.  But the fact is these people made themselves as God’s of this Earth by their own intelligence and Education and Knowledge and decided to fight the Evil. These people are fighting a battle with an invisible force called Evil in this World by their human intelligence and Knowledge. This is like fighting the Enemy who has a gun with an empty hand and is a utter foolishness and an act of Suicide or disaster. We see more than 40% divorces and Suicides coming from these Countries. Human Beings however advanced may be cannot defeat Evil by themselves but require the help from a good Spirit of Love. God’s love comes from the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, those who believe in him and ask him. This is the reason, why we need to believe God and seek his assistance to fight the Evil in our life. We cannot attain Love & forgiveness through Education or human intelligence but only by trusting Jesus Christ who is the Messiah who came in to this Earth to defeat the Satan who is the source of all Evil and give us a life in the Spirit of God. Those Who believe in Jesus as Christ, they are saved from the Evil Spirit and possess the Holy Spirit. The perfect love of God has poured in to our hearts only through Jesus Christ. Why Jesus Christ and not some other Ways of life? Evil can be defeated only through the Power of Love and forgiveness and Jesus Christ and Whole Bible is the testimony of God’s love and forgiveness. Jesus himself gave his life as a sacrifice of ultimate love and forgave his enemies. There is no alternate to Jesus Christ my friends, believe in his grace the Holy Spirit and we can be little God’s on this Earth to drive the Evil Spirits and love & forgive others by the power of the Holy Spirit.

 

 

 

 

The main Purpose of life on this Earth is to communion with God & understand the mysteries of the Kingdom of God.

“Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things.
There is need of only one thing.
Mary has chosen the better part
and it will not be taken from her.”

The Readings of today give us the very purpose of our being in this World. Human is created and called to communion with God. This is the first and foremost purpose of being on this Earth. Man is not created to do many things on this Earth. Man is Created to listen to God and obey him.  These are only two things God wants from People and nothing else.

Why then Man is busy in making things better in his life.  Man is doing all the things in his life because he wants to live a better and good life. Is this wrong ..yes .  We must ask a question to our self, do these things really make our life a better life.   The Worldly things cannot make our life a better life because they are temporary and perishable. Many people have done many things in their life but finally died without any Peace and happiness.   Moreover, doing research on the things which Exist in this World is not a Wise thing but a child play. Children often build many Castles when they play, and for them those Castles are real and give lots of joy during their game and once the game is over all the Castles are back to normal Sand or mud.  We have been created in the beautiful World with all necessary things with all the Skills and amenities and man must only listen to the maker of this Earth and do according to his Will.  If Man is in communication with God, he reveals much above and more  things than Sun , Moon, Stars, Technology or Science. Man was already given the Wisdom to understand and rule the Earth but Man’s purpose of being on this Earth is not to rule the Earth but to listen to God and do the things as per his Will.  I remember a story of Fisher Man and the Business Man. There was a Fisherman living at the Seashore earning his livelihood by catching fish in his little boat. One day a Business Man comes for a Holiday to this Sea Side Village and sees the Fisher Man with little Boat. He approaches him and starts encouraging him to be more prosperous. The Conversation goes like this

Business Man: You little Fisherman. I am a Gold Medallist in Business Management. I can give you ideas to become big like me by buying bigger Boat and catch many Fishes through technology , Science and latest robots and Computers and big  loans from the  friendly Banks.

Fisher Man: If I do all these things, what will happen after…

Business Man: You can form an Export Fishing Company and Export to the End of the World and be a Millionaire like me

Fisher Man: After becoming a millionaire, what happen after.

Business Man: You Fool.. Enjoy your retired life like me as I am enjoying on this Seashore for last one month.

Fisher Man:  You Fool.. That is what I am doing for the last 50 years of my life….

We run to search a better life in this World,  but in the quest of life we slide away from life and land in the wretched life of greed and selfishness.

How can we understand what is God’s Will in our life? We can understand God’s Will only through Jesus Christ, because he is the only person came from God who is begotten and made in Earth but made in Heaven. Jesus reveals us the purpose of Man on this Earth.  Jesus gives two Commandments to love God fully and love our Neighbour. Man must to do only these two things in his life as per Jesus revelation. Jesus himself came in this World and did these two very things in life. He could have invented some great things which we require in life but he did not because he knew all these things are there and available what we need is order of life and that is love. Jesus invented love on this Earth and taught us to love God and each other. He became an Example of love by washing the feet’s, Curing the sick, welcoming the left out, driving the demons, feeding the hungry, preaching the Kingdom of God and finally dying on the Cross for the Whole World.

In today’s Gospel Mary sits at Jesus feet to listen to him and Martha was busy in the preparation of the reception. God does not want anything from us but expects us to listen and do what he says… If Martha had sat and listened to Jesus and done things What Jesus wanted. then Martha would have received double points but she assumes many things in her mind like World thinks and busy in preparation and loses the main purpose of  Jesus coming to her house to meet her or communicate with her. We also lose our blessings by doing many things in our life. When We talk about many things, I am not talking about bad or Worldly things but good things. All humans are called to do a specific thing on this Earth and God communicates through our Vocation or Call of life. If we are made as a fisher man, let us be a faithful and loving fisherman and not dream to be a Spiderman.  God does not tell us to be  whole God on this Earth but he wants us to be his Children. God has a power to convert the whole of the World in to good in a fraction of time but wants his Children to Win the Victory through him as per his plan and his plan he communicates to us in our Vocation.  If we see Jonah in the first reading, Jonah runs away from God knowingly due to fear and of dismay. Jonah had not surrendered his life to the glory of God and still seeking self-glory and did not want to be insulted as false Prophet and  decided to live a quiet life without hurting anyone in life. Many people run away from God, these kind of people know that very bottom of their heart. I speak to some people who are these kind , they say We have God in our heart but we do not express  in our mouth. These people are like Jonah , they are good and do not harm anyone and live a quiet life far away from God’s Temple but God has spoken a particular mission to accomplish in their life and they do not want  to give up those very habits or idols in their life. These people always have ups and downs in their life and these are part of God’s calling or mercy reminding them of their real mission of life.
